Welcome to our club based in Northeast Calgary. The Eastside Memorial Football Club (EMFC) is a long established community club that seeks to serve our entire community. 

Whether you are new to Calgary, just starting out, live and breath the game, or looking for adult kicks, we want to welcome you.

As a non-profit soccer club, we are a licensed by Canada Soccer as a Quality Soccer Provider. EMFC is a member Alberta Soccer Association and the Calgary Minor Soccer Association. The organization is registered under the Alberta Societies Act as a non-profit organization

Our coaches are experienced players and coach with a passion to lead our young members to be players of tomorrow, today.
Our vision is to create an environment where the community can connect and share a passion through the sport of soccer.

Sport is inclusive.  It brings many virtues that are necessary in life, including honesty, trust, integrity and effort. We hope to instill and nurture these through our programs.

Support the growth of soccer through a pathway for players, coaches and officials to excel at
the highest level they aspire to, making soccer their sport of choice.

Our Philosophy

We believe in the power of play. Play enables youth of all ages to explore new possibilities, test their limits, and unleash their creativity. Beyond the obvious physical health benefits, active play contributes to cognitive, emotional, and social development. Research shows it improves motor function, creativity, decision-making, problem-solving, emotional regulation, and even language development in young children.

Inclusive and Accessible Sport

Sport brings people together, breaking down barriers and fostering inclusivity. It should remain accessible—physically, economically, and socially—for everyone. By providing top-tier facilities, we aim to create opportunities for individuals of all ages and backgrounds to participate in soccer and other field sports. More fields mean more chances to play, practice, and build a sense of community.

Participation in sports promotes lifelong healthy habits while offering newcomers a welcoming way to integrate into the community.
